This definition was good I borrowed it from Betsan's book. OK, it is a string of big words but it is definitely a conversation starter. When you take them one by one it makes a lot of sense. Pyschosocial is a good way of describing the impact of a knitting group. It is an intervention because it is not something a doctor does to a patient or medicine the patient is given but it does have a positive impact on the health of people.
